Usmanity

These are two albums off the NPR list I'm listening to currently. They're pretty good, pretty well deserved ranks on the list also.

Hazards of Love sounds really different and out there, if you're in for some twisted-to-funny lyrics, listen to it. The Decemberists include ome romance and love mixed with anger and angst are put together well in this album. I enjoyed listening to it, it's a good album for the rainy winter. BTW: I love the owls on their website.

Merriweather Post Pavilion sounds odd for an album's name. If anyone knows why they call it that, drop me some sense. This album really is a standard alternative rock album. The difference between something you'll hear on the radio and Animal Collective is their constant experimentation. This is a good album overall.
